Our Mission
By the grace of God, this academy exists to make quality typing education accessible to everyone. We believe skill should never be locked behind a paywall. Strong typing—speed with accuracy—can transform study, work, and confidence. That is why our lessons, practice tools, and progress tracking are offered free of charge for learners everywhere.
Dedicated to My Parents

Everything I am began with my parents. They gave me life and raised me with love—teaching right from wrong and providing food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, and education. They never let me go without. More than anything, I watched them help people, quietly and consistently. Their example taught me that a meaningful life is measured by how much good you do for others. This Typing Academy is a small attempt to follow their path: to serve, to share, and to open doors for anyone who wants to learn.
The Heart of This Project — My Wife, Pael Bain
If this project has a heartbeat, it is my wife. Without Pael, none of this would exist. Her care is the strength I wake up with every day; her patience and calm focus steady me when the road gets hard. She believes deeply that learning should be open to everyone, and that belief has shaped this academy from day one.
Pael reminds me why we are doing this—so a student with limited means can still practice, so a parent can learn after a long shift, so a dreamer can type faster and step closer to new opportunities. When I doubt, she encourages me. When I rush, she slows me down long enough to make it better. When I’m tired, she looks after me so I can keep going. May God bless her with a long, healthy, and joyful life.
Founder’s Story
Douglas Benedict Costa
Today almost everything costs money. Yet I grew up watching my parents—and my elder brothers—give generously for the good of others, often sacrificing their own comfort. I try to follow that example: supporting the poor and anyone eager to study.
A little while ago, Pael wanted to improve her typing speed. We searched online for practice tools and found that most required a paid subscription. I asked myself: If my parents and brothers do so much for others, why shouldn’t I? That question became this project. I set out to build a practical, effective, and completely free way to learn typing—so cost would never be the reason someone stops learning.
